Frequently asked questions
1. I am at a Hotspot location. How do I start?
A.
Assuming your network card is correctly configured (click here for more details on configuring your network card), open your web browser before doing anything else. Our software automatically catches you and gently boots you over to our login page. From here, you can register an account, login, and purchase as much access time as you need.

2. What do I need to get started?
A.
The only requirement is that you have an internet connection. We recommend a ADSL or Cable connection provided by your local ISP. Hotspot will provide any routers, switches cables and appliances needed for you to start using Hotspot-Internet right away.

3. How much do I charge my clients?
A.
: That is totally up to you. Normally we suggest $0.10/minute ($6/hour). You can devise any payment structure you like. Please try out our revenue estimator to see how much revenue you can generate

4. Can I connect using a Macintosh computer?
A.
Yes, Hotspot-Internet supports Macintosh users. Macs with AirPort cards installed usually require little or no configuration. You will need to set your AirPort card to select the T-Mobile HotSpot network. See the AirPort card documentation for specific instructions.

5. Can I limit the time an individual user?
A.
Yes. Users are limited by the amount of time they have purchased. In addition, if you have purchased kiosk management software, you can choose any duration you like and the software will automatically regulate the usage for you.

6. My connection to the Internet was lost. What should I do?
A.
First of all, please check if you are connecting to a VPN. As some companies block access to the Internet after connecting to their VPN. Otherwise, this situation is usually due to poor wireless connectivity between your computer and the Access Point. You may need to change the position in order to improve the link quality. If it still does not work, please restart your device and try again. Please note that you are not required to re-login after reboot.
